Job Summary
As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor at UPS, you’ll be responsible for overseeing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of UPS aircraft. This leadership role involves assigning workloads, verifying maintenance plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician) performance, and coordinating cross-functional teams to keep fleet operations running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee performance and workflow of line maintenance AMTs.

Assign and prioritize maintenance workloads.

Monitor maintenance progress and AMT task completion.

Minimize AMT downtime and optimize scheduling.

Support maintenance status reporting and fleet readiness.

Ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards at gateways.

Confirm the availability of parts, tools, and training for all maintenance activities.

Maintain and manage AMT schedules, timekeeping, payroll, and overtime.

Develop and implement safe and compliant maintenance processes.
Required Qualifications

FAA Powerplant License is mandatory.

Minimum 5 years of heavy jet maintenance experience (747, MD-11, DC-10 preferred).

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in flight line maintenance.

Must meet local age and vehicle operation requirements.

Must be able to pass FAA-regulated drug screening prior to placement in this safety-sensitive role.

Annual Base Salary: $145,320 to $209,940
