Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, maintain, and monitor security infrastructure, including Linux servers and network devices.

  • Implement automation tools like Ansible to optimize system management.

  • Monitor system performance to maximize uptime and plan for future growth.

  • Develop and enforce security and operational standards.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS with 4+ years of Linux system administration experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python.

  • Hands-on experience with physical/virtual server management.

  • Knowledge of networking concepts, configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet), virtualization (VMware, Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Ansible Tower (AWX), RHEL, CentOS, or Rocky Linux.

  • Knowledge of vulnerability management tools (Qualys, Tenable, Rapid7).

  • VMware expertise.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: $102,000 – $112,000 (based on qualifications/experience).

  • 10% employer contribution to retirement (vested immediately).

  • 22 paid vacation days, sick leave, and 12 holidays.
