The Opportunity
As a Literacy Coordinator, you will be both educator and innovator. Your work will directly shape how students learn to read—combining proven instructional methods with cutting-edge technology. You’ll design and lead scalable literacy programs, create engaging reading experiences, and collaborate with our engineering team to refine AI-driven tools that transform classrooms.
Key Responsibilities

Lead high-energy reading workshops that bring phonics, comprehension, and fluency to life.

Create game-inspired learning experiences that make reading milestones exciting.

Analyze real-time student progress data and adapt instruction accordingly.

Collaborate with engineers to enhance AI-powered literacy tools.

Develop scalable, adaptive instructional content tailored to each learner.

Drive reading achievement across Alpha campuses while fostering a lifelong love for learning.
What You Won’t Be Doing

Using cookie-cutter curricula that overlook individual needs.

Drowning in administrative paperwork.

Managing overcrowded classrooms with little one-on-one attention.

Spending more time on behavior management than instruction.

Teaching in isolation without the chance to influence broader innovation.
Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree plus certification in specialized reading instruction (e.g., Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).

Minimum 2 years of success in small-group reading intervention with early elementary learners.

Strong ability to assess, group, and differentiate instruction.

Comfortable with adaptive learning platforms and digital tools.

Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Willingness to join one of our dynamic campus communities (FL, TX, NJ, or PR).
Compensation & Structure

Full-time, 40 hours/week.

Long-term independent contractor role (via Crossover).

$50 USD/hour = ~$100,000/year (based on 40 hours/week, 50 weeks/year).
