Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Locum Consultant in Neurophysiology to join the team at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time post consisting of 10 Programmed Activities (PAs):

8 PAs of Direct Clinical Care (DCC)

2 PAs of Supporting Professional Activities (SPA)
All duties, both clinical and non-clinical, will be performed on-site at Royal Surrey.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and forward-thinking team providing high-quality neurophysiology services.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver outpatient neurophysiology services including EEGs, nerve conduction studies, and EMGs
-
Participate in multidisciplinary clinical meetings and case discussions
-
Contribute to the development and audit of departmental services

Provide clinical leadership and support to junior staff and allied health professionals
-
Undertake SPA duties including teaching, clinical governance, service improvement, and CPD
-
Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation in line with Trust policies
Essential Requirements

Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
-
CCT (or within 6 months of achieving it) in Clinical Neurophysiology or equivalent experience
-
Proven experience in performing and interpreting a broad range of neurophysiological investigations
-
Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
