Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships within customer organizations through regular phone and in-person meetings.

  • Uncover and develop additional business opportunities by promoting a broad portfolio of transportation and logistics services.

  • Work closely with customers to understand and solve supply chain challenges through customized solutions and on-site collaboration.

  • Collaborate with the account leadership team to develop competitive pricing strategies and present options to customers.

  • Identify and proactively resolve issues by consulting relevant teams and implementing effective solutions.

  • Sell both transactional and long-term contractual services tailored to client needs.

  • Partner regularly with pricing and operations teams to ensure alignment and service quality.

  • Manage client expectations by utilizing and reporting on key account metrics.

  • Uphold and promote the company’s Core Values in all business interactions.

  • Maintain consistent attendance and reliability in performance.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 2+ years in freight brokerage or 3PL sales strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset, competitive nature, and leadership skills.

  • Proven negotiation skills with a focus on carrier relations, client engagement, and margin integrity.

  • Strong ability to work independently while also collaborating in a team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.

  • High sense of urgency and excellent time management.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
