Your Role at Elis

  • Uphold the company’s vision, values, and policies at all times.
  • Act as a deputy in the absence of the Logistics Manager.
  • Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with Operator licence, EU, and other legal regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments for major changes or new business as required.
  • Maintain optimal stock levels to support business continuity.
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance plans, ensuring all documentation aligns with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and optimize delivery routes, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
  • Investigate logistics issues, implementing corrective actions using various systems (e.g., FTA Vision, TMS2 data, Telematics).
  • Lead and manage personnel, including performance reviews, training, and compliance checks.
  • Develop and manage functional budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Promote environmental sustainability by improving route efficiency and fuel consumption.
  • Ensure driver compliance with EN14065 standards, including daily vehicle disinfection.
  • Meet Service Agent KPIs, focusing on customer service, retention, and new business growth.

  • 2–3 years of supervisory experience (desirable but not essential).
  • GCSE Maths & English (Grade C and above) or vocational training.
  • Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations.
  • No more than 6 points on a driving licence.
