About Team
The future of smart mobility relies on data, metrics, and analytics. As part of our Global Data Insight & Analytics (GDI&A) team, you’ll play a pivotal role as a trusted advisor to Ford. Our insights into business conditions, customer needs, and market trends empower leaders to make evidence-based decisions. Projects span Connected Vehicle, Smart Mobility, Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Warranty Analytics.
Role Overview:
We are seeking exceptional Machine Learning and AI Scientists to drive innovation in areas like autonomous vehicles, cybersecurity, customer engagement, and product design. You’ll be involved in all stages of projects, from problem identification to deploying solutions. This role allows you to conduct original research, test methodologies, and solve world-class ML challenges.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze structured and unstructured data, including text, audio, images, and video

Work with high-dimensional, high-volume datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and relationships

Apply AI and ML technology to solve complex business problems

Build, test, and deploy machine learning models at scale

Visualize and present results to executives and business stakeholders
-
Fulfill consulting requests on ML techniques and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business impact
Basic Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, or related field

1+ years of experience delivering and maintaining production software products
-
Strong knowledge of the software lifecycle
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Expertise in data engineering, model building, and MLOps
-
Experience deploying generative AI solutions for business
Preferred Qualifications

PhD with 1+ years, Master’s with 3+ years, or Bachelor’s with 5+ years of data science experience

Cloud deployment experience and best practices knowledge

Expertise in one or more of the following:
• Natural Language Processing (LLM fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment at scale)
• Computer Vision (object detection, anomaly detection, motion prediction)
• Generative AI (fine-tuning diffusion models, multimodal LLMs, 3D generation)
• Physics-Informed Neural Networks (CFD, FEA, PDE surrogate modeling)
