The Opportunity
We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) to join our growing AI/ML team in Irvine, CA. This hands-on role is perfect for those eager to apply machine learning, deep learning, and signal processing to semiconductor and RF engineering challenges. From yield prediction to anomaly detection and device modeling, your work will directly influence the way the world communicates.
Responsibilities

Lead ML projects for design automation, yield optimization, signal modeling, and anomaly detection

Develop predictive analytics for quality improvement and root-cause analysis across test/manufacturing data

Build and own end-to-end ML pipelines: data collection, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring

Collaborate with cross-functional experts in RF, electrical, product, and manufacturing engineering

Prototype research concepts and transition them into production-grade solutions

Stay updated on state-of-the-art ML methods relevant to semiconductors, signal processing, and high-dimensional time-series data
Required Qualifications

BS + 8 years of experience (Ph.D. preferred) in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math, or related fields

Strong knowledge of ML and deep learning architectures (CNNs, transformers, time-series models, probabilistic methods)

Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn)

Solid foundation in statistics, optimization, and model evaluation

Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-disciplinary teamwork
Preferred Skills

Exposure to semiconductor, electronics, or RF systems

Experience with large, complex datasets (e.g., sensor, waveform, EDA simulation outputs)

Familiarity with data infrastructure/workflow tools (Airflow, MLflow, cloud platforms)

Contributions to peer-reviewed publications, patents, or open-source ML projects
Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $112,500 – $215,900 (depending on experience and location)
