About the Role:
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll develop advanced ML and deep learning models to personalize Pinterest experiences. You’ll collaborate with teams across Ads, Growth, Shopping, and Search to optimize recommendations and enhance product performance using large-scale data.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement cutting-edge deep learning and machine learning systems for personalized recommendations.

Collaborate across teams to improve ML models for various product areas (Homefeed, Ads, Shopping, etc.).

Build and maintain large-scale data pipelines using technologies like Hadoop and Spark.

Conduct data-driven experimentation to improve user experience and engagement.

Stay up to date with industry trends in recommendation systems and applied ML.
Qualifications:

2+ years of industry experience in applied machine learning (e.g., personalization, recommender systems, NLP, ranking, reinforcement learning).

Hands-on experience building large-scale ML systems and data pipelines.

Strong background in big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
Preferred:

M.S. or Ph.D. in Machine Learning or a related field.

Publications in top ML conferences.

Experience in scalable, real-time stream processing systems.
