Role Overview (R – READ)
City Building Engineering Services (CBES) is seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Perth. In this permanent role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of various mechanical and electrical systems across our client sites — ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations.
Essential Duties (E – EXPLAIN)

Maintain and repair a wide range of plant and equipment (e.g., wood-working machinery, HVAC, lighting systems, PLCs, compactors).

Diagnose faults and advise on non-repairable items and replacements.

Complete scheduled Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on time.

Maintain accurate paperwork, timesheets, and mileage logs.

Supervise subcontractors where required and support store operational continuity.

Undertake minor electrical and mechanical installations within competence.

Comply with Health & Safety policies and attend necessary training courses.

Represent CBES professionally when liaising with clients and teams.
Key Requirements (A – ALIGN)

Experience with both mechanical and electrical plant/equipment.

Ability to prioritise workloads and meet tight deadlines.

Competent in completing technical reports and maintenance records.

Flexible and self-motivated with a strong team ethic.

Full UK driving licence (essential, due to travel needs).
