Vacancy Overview
Permanent full time position.
A £2,000 per annum market supplement (pro-rated and non-pensionable) is available for the successful applicant on provision of proof of current membership of an approved accounting body.
This is a key role supporting the financial planning and monitoring of research activity and providing dedicated support and guidance within the School.
About You
- You will be highly motivated, with excellent teamwork and communication skills and possess a recognised professional accountancy qualification or with qualification imminent.
- You will have experience within a finance function or within practice and possess a sound knowledge of accounting standards.
- As the Management Accountant in the Research Finance team, you will work closely with existing experienced finance staff and will be approachable and organised.
- Most importantly you will be able to communicate complex financial matters to non-finance staff.
