About the Role
As the Contingent Workforce Manager at Zoox, you will oversee our contingent labor program, ensuring it runs smoothly, remains compliant, and delivers an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and contingent workers. You’ll work closely with business leaders to align workforce strategies with organizational goals, improve program operations, and enhance supplier relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Zoox’s contingent workforce program, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction.

  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand staffing needs and align contingent talent strategies accordingly.

  • Oversee vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality talent fulfillment and adherence to service expectations.

  • Optimize workflows, tools, and systems to improve transparency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.

  • Use data insights and stakeholder feedback to evaluate program performance and implement continuous improvements.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years managing contingent workforce programs, ideally in fast-paced or complex environments.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience, including team management and mentorship.

  • In-depth knowledge of contingent workforce operations, compliance, worker classifications, and industry standards.

  • Strong background in vendor management, supplier negotiations, and strategic partnerships.

  • Hands-on experience with VMS platforms (e.g., VNDLY, Beeline, Fieldglass), including system configuration and analytics.

  • Excellent operational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in managing budgets and financial planning for contingent workforce programs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $168,000–$214,000, depending on experience, skill level, and geographic location.

  • Equity Compensation: Includes Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.

  • Sign-on Bonus: May be offered as part of the total compensation package.
