Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of internal and external client data projects, ensuring seamless execution from initiation to delivery.

  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of Razorfish’s data capabilities and how they align with and support broader client strategies.

  • Apply marketing and business insights to effectively position data services as essential to achieving client goals.

  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional projects, fostering strong collaboration across disciplines.

  • Oversee client presentations and readouts, gather and define data requirements, and manage the implementation of data tools and solutions.

  • Leverage subject matter expertise in key data domains—such as business intelligence, data visualization, forecasting, testing, or modeling—to contribute meaningfully to client engagements and deliverables.

Data Strategy

  • Independently identify and prioritize key challenges and objectives for both internal and client-facing initiatives.

  • Apply strategic thinking to enhance client marketing performance or advance their data maturity, leveraging appropriate frameworks and methodologies.

Communication Skills

  • Contribute thoughtful insights to both internal and client discussions, integrating feedback effectively.

  • Prepare polished presentations and outlines independently, delivering content with clarity and confidence.

  • Address complex or ambiguous questions with professionalism and poise.

  • Present ideas confidently in meetings, offer strategic alternatives, and lead discussions when needed.

  • Create client-facing documentation with minimal reliance on templates, maintaining a strong visual and storytelling focus.

  • Use presentation tools like PowerPoint or Google Slides with fluency, ensuring data is visually compelling and easy to understand.

Client Engagement

  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for data-related needs and evolve into a trusted client resource.

  • Manage and lead end-to-end execution of multiple client programs and projects.

  • Display a professional, confident presence in client interactions and relationship-building activities.

  • Accurately document and respond to client feedback, raising concerns when necessary.

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of client business dynamics, including financials, industry trends, marketing channels, and strategic goals.

Tools & Techniques

  • Exhibit expertise across a range of data tools, platforms, and methodologies.

  • Possess strong knowledge of statistical concepts and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R).

  • Understand the application and value of machine learning in marketing and analytics.

  • Contribute to vendor assessments and selection processes.

  • Proactively identify knowledge gaps and pursue learning through internal resources or expert guidance.

  • Maintain data integrity across collection, extraction, and activation phases, with hands-on experience in BI and visualization tools.

Analytics

Planning & Implementation

  • Independently execute learning agendas and measurement plans from start to finish.

  • Proactively identify and resolve implementation issues related to measurement strategies.

Insight Generation

  • Demonstrate fluency in key CRM performance metrics such as email click-through rates, offer redemption rates, incremental sales and margin, and related measurement methodologies.

  • Derive actionable insights from data and provide clear, strategic recommendations to enhance data extraction and marketing processes.
