About the Role
Actalent is seeking a Manager of Database Management & Analytics (CSPV) to support project-specific safety database configurations. This role focuses on system validation, quality checks, and administrative management of safety databases to ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with CSPV and DBMA teams while working with safety system service providers to maintain accurate and effective database configurations.
This is a contract opportunity based out of Basking Ridge, New Jersey, with fully remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities

Implement project-specific safety database configurations in compliance with regulatory standards.

Participate in system validation activities for safety databases and related applications.

Perform quality checks on configuration changes and resolve discrepancies.

Serve as a system administrator, managing configurations and master data updates.

Collaborate with CSPV and DBMA teams to complete configuration forms accurately.

Maintain best practices for safety database configurations and related processes.

Assist with data management of safety-related pharmacovigilance (PV) systems.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Experience supporting Oracle Argus Safety and safety reporting applications.

Strong knowledge of relational databases, specifically Oracle and SQL.

Understanding of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), particularly Axway B2Bi Interchange.

Familiarity with global safety reporting requirements and ICH E2B guidelines.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

At least 4 years of experience in pharmacovigilance database management.

Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented demeanor.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of PV reports is a plus.

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $68.77 – $75.78/hr.
