Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary finance leader for the warehouse operation, representing the finance team in meetings with both operations and the client to stay informed on business developments and changes.
  • Collaborate closely with operations and the customer to ensure financial objectives are met and assess the financial implications of new projects.
  • Oversee the preparation and delivery of both internal and client-facing reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Address client inquiries and requests regarding financial data and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses for both internal and external stakeholders on a weekly, monthly, and annual basis.
  • Guarantee the accurate and timely delivery of customer invoices.
  • Create and manage invoice templates, queries, and manual processes to streamline data collection for billing purposes.
  • Facilitate the setup of new accounting units, project codes, work centers, and related structures to support billing accuracy and operational success at the facility.

What You’ll Bring to GXO:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent related work/military experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a finance-related role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working with large datasets from various business intelligence (BI) systems.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and analytical tools; ability to collect data, model financial scenarios, and draw meaningful insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA, CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification.
  • Flexibility to work variable hours, including overtime and weekends as needed.
  • Prior management or supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and/or relevant certifications.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
