Human Resources Manager – House of Dior, NYC

Location: House of Dior, 57th Street, New York City
Reports To: Director, Human Resources – New York City Metropolis

About the Role

We are seeking an HR Manager for our new House of Dior boutique in NYC. This role will serve as both an operational and strategic business partner, ensuring an exceptional employee experience and managing the employee lifecycle with professionalism and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

HR Business Partnership

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for the flagship boutique.
  • Lead HR strategies in alignment with both House of Dior and HR Americas roadmaps.
  • Provide comprehensive HR support, ensuring seamless and consistent practices.
  • Act as a liaison between the boutique and corporate teams.
  • Oversee precise and timely execution of HR operations.

Talent Development & Employee Experience

  • Collaborate with the Talent Development team to assess and address training needs.
  • Drive initiatives for talent management, retention, development, and succession planning.
  • Foster employee engagement and maintain a workplace culture that reflects luxury standards.
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional HR projects with CSR, Talent Acquisition, and Talent Development teams.
  • Conduct career development discussions with employees.

Employee Relations, Performance Management & Compliance

  • Serve as the primary contact for Employee Relations, working closely with the regional HR Director.
  • Manage and report on investigations, ensuring fair and consistent handling of employee concerns.
  • Support performance management processes and address any performance issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Christian Dior and LVMH policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5 to 10 years of HR experience, preferably in the luxury retail sector.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Goal-oriented with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $100,000 – $120,000 annually (based on experience) + bonus eligibility.
