Role Overview

The Manager, Marketing Operations (Global Focus) reports to the Director of Strategic Planning within Global Marketing and Sales (GMSBO). This role ensures operational excellence across global marketing initiatives, supports PS5 hardware, PlayStation Plus, software, and PlayStation Store campaigns, and aligns marketing operations with strategic priorities.

This is a highly collaborative role within a global matrix structure, requiring strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refine and manage end-to-end marketing operations processes integrated with planning cycles (MRP, Annual Strategic Plan, Operating Plan, Quarterly Forecasts).

  • Develop and document standard operating procedures to optimize workflows.

  • Support clear decision-making through RAPID-based role alignment.

  • Build tools/templates for campaign tracking, workflow management, and communication of key milestones.

  • Partner with Corporate Planning and Finance on marketing budget timelines and strategic alignment.

  • Define metrics and commission analysis of marketing performance drivers at the global/territory level.

  • Deliver data-driven insights for quarterly forecasts and business reviews.

  • Act as a liaison between global marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment.

  • Support leadership by clearly communicating priorities and planning outputs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • 7+ years’ experience in marketing operations, strategic planning, or related roles within a global organization.

  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and/or Power BI.
