We are now looking for a Manager – Social Media Platforms and Partners to join our Global Brand Social Team based in our vibrant London office. Home to 100+ adidas professionals, this office is a creative hub for brand marketing, sports and culture partnerships, sales, digital, and more.

The Role: Social Media Manager (Global Brand Social Team)

As a Social Media Manager, you will be at the forefront of adidas’ global social media strategy—managing platform relationships and maximizing content value across sport, culture, and entertainment. This is a strategic, hands-on role driving best-in-class brand storytelling and consumer engagement through two primary lenses: social platforms and partner publishing.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage global social media platforms and partnerships to drive innovation, relevance, and excellence in storytelling and content delivery.

  • Stay ahead of emerging platform trends, guidelines, algorithms, and safety policies to ensure adidas maintains its position as the #1 global sports brand on social media.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Brand, Market, Sports Marketing, Category, and Creative) to deliver high-impact, platform-first content aligned with the adidas Marketing Framework.

  • Provide clear, actionable guidance to global and local market teams, enabling brand-safe, effective, and innovative campaign execution across social channels.

  • Foster strong relationships with key social media platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, YouTube, X, Snapchat) to develop joint marketing plans and unlock value through co-branded activations.

  • Manage social content partnerships with adidas brand ambassadors, creators, athletes, and cultural icons, ensuring their activation aligns with brand messaging and campaign objectives.

  • Utilize platform business tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager) to monitor performance and optimize campaigns in real-time.

  • Deliver measurable brand performance by integrating data-driven insights into your strategic planning and content delivery.

  • Contribute to email marketing, local social publishing, and real-time content creation, as needed.

Who We’re Looking For:

You are a social-first thinker and collaborative brand builder with deep knowledge of social media platforms and the evolving digital landscape. You bring strategic leadership and practical platform knowledge with a consumer-first mindset.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing social media content, strategy, and partnerships at a high level, ideally in a global or cross-market setting.

  • Expertise in platform mechanics, trends, creator programs, and publishing best practices.

  • Passionate advocate for culture, sport, and storytelling through digital media.

  • Strong project management skills – able to juggle multiple campaigns, deadlines, and stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

  • Comfortable with data – using performance metrics to inform decisions and refine strategies.

  • Experience with social business tools (Meta Business Manager, TikTok Creator Portal, YouTube Studio, etc.).

  • Background in marketing, advertising, or brand management within the sport, fashion, lifestyle, or entertainment industries preferred.

  • Passion for adidas’ mission and culture, and a drive to bring bold, fresh ideas to the table.
