About the Marketing Assistant Role
The Marketing Assistant works directly with clients to deliver impactful marketing support. You’ll create and manage content, oversee social media channels, build email campaigns, edit media, and coordinate projects. This role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and digital marketing know-how. Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant
- Write and edit blogs, emails, sales documents, and social media content.
- Manage content calendars and create lead magnets.
- Implement social media strategies to grow engagement on platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
- Manage email marketing campaigns and segmented lists with tools like Mailchimp.
- Edit short audio/video content for social media or online courses.
- Design visuals with platforms like Canva to match client branding.
- Support CRM workflows, data management, and reporting.
- Coordinate tasks using project management tools to meet deadlines.
- Conduct vendor research and manage vendor relationships.
- Optimize content for SEO and keyword performance.
- Moderate online communities and assist with podcast production.
- Coordinate online courses and webinars, tracking engagement and results.
Qualifications for Marketing Assistant
- Available Monday through Friday during business hours.
- Reliable home office setup (Mac/PC, smartphone, internet).
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools such as Canva, Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Buffer, and Mailchimp.
- Understanding of social media and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Pay & Contract Details
- Hourly rate: $28–$33, based on experience and skill set.
- Contractors are paid monthly based on contracted hours.
- Hours vary per client (typically 45–130/month).
- This is a 1099 contractor role, not a W2 position.
- Applicants must be U.S. residents (excluding CA, CO, MT, NJ, NY, and PA).
- Must be available during regular business hours; not compatible with other full-time jobs.
