About the Role

Humana’s Marketing organization is seeking a Marketing Automation Manager specializing in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Next Best Action (NBA) execution. In this role, you’ll serve as a Senior Product Manager, translating strategy into personalized, real-time journeys using Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).

You will lead all phases of the product life cycle—from inception to launch—while ensuring continuous optimization through data, customer feedback, and analytics-driven improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, test, deploy, and refine personalized journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer.

  • Build and validate audience segments in AEP using real-time signals and profile attributes.

  • Collaborate with lifecycle marketers, data scientists, and channel leads to improve targeting.

  • Conduct QA across triggers, personalization rules, and cross-channel orchestration.

  • Monitor journey performance, troubleshoot issues, and refine NBA logic with analytics.

  • Serve as an SME in AJO/AEP, mentoring teams on journey orchestration best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years in marketing operations or lifecycle marketing.

  • 2+ years of hands-on AEP and AJO configuration experience.

  • Strong knowledge of customer journey logic, event triggers, and personalization.

  • Excellent communication across technical and business teams.

  • Experience in agile or pod-based environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adobe certifications in AEP or AJO.

  • Familiarity with Adobe Real-Time CDP, XDM schemas, or event tagging.

  • Background in regulated industries (healthcare, financial services).

  • Exposure to JSON, event payloads, and API-driven personalization.

  • Understanding of NBA personalization frameworks.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $104,000 – $143,000 per year, plus performance bonus eligibility.
