Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and creative Marketing & Gallery Assistant to support both our marketing efforts and day-to-day gallery operations. This is a hands-on role that involves content creation, social media marketing, direct sales, and client engagement. It’s ideal for a recent marketing graduate or someone with a strong interest in the arts and digital media.
You will play a key role in growing our audience, improving brand visibility, and driving art sales through strategic marketing and direct outreach.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications

Create engaging content for social media, email newsletters, and the website

Curate and schedule posts across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

Grow and manage our online presence; respond to followers and track engagement

Pitch art sales to local businesses, hotels, and appropriate venues

Assist with planning and executing email campaigns via Mailchimp

Support ad campaigns using tools like Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager

Help maintain and update website content (no coding needed)
Gallery Operations

Welcome and assist gallery visitors with warmth and professionalism

Handle basic administrative tasks and daily operations

Maintain a clean and visually appealing gallery environment

Conduct very basic print framing (training provided)

Monitor and manage stock and inventory levels
Ideal Candidate Profile

Degree in Marketing, Creative Communications, or equivalent work experience

Comfortable with direct client interaction and confident in sales conversations

Strong written and visual communication skills

Experience using platforms such as Canva, Mailchimp, Google Ads, and social media scheduling tools

Interest in visual arts and ability to discuss artwork with gallery visitors

Self-driven, organised, and capable of working both independently and within a team
