Role Overview
The Marketing Specialist will support Symetra’s product promotion, sales, and servicing efforts. You’ll partner with product, sales, compliance, and corporate marketing teams to develop high-quality, engaging content across email, web, and social channels. This role involves writing, editing, and managing projects through review cycles with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Create clear and compelling marketing materials, emails, web pages, and social media posts.

Collaborate with compliance, legal, and corporate marketing teams to ensure materials meet brand and regulatory standards.

Maintain and update existing marketing content to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Develop in-depth knowledge of Symetra products, including group life, disability, absence management, and state leave programs.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communications, or related field preferred.

2–5 years of relevant experience in marketing; financial services experience highly preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, SharePoint).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong attention to detail.

Experience creating email, web-based, and social media content preferred.

High school diploma required.
Work Requirements

Remote-first role; requires reliable internet (≥100 Mbps download / 20 Mbps upload; fiber, cable, or DSL).
