Purpose
The Bilingual Math Teacher is responsible for teaching mathematics, focusing on concepts, skills, and applications aligned with course assignments. This role is part of the dual language program, with curriculum and instruction provided in Spanish.
Key Responsibilities

Teach mathematics in Spanish as part of the dual language curriculum.

Develop engaging and culturally responsive instructional plans.

Monitor student learning, growth, and progress in math proficiency.

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure curriculum alignment.

Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
Qualifications

Fluent bilingual skills in Spanish and English (required).

Valid teaching license in mathematics (or eligibility for Oregon licensure).

Experience teaching middle school students preferred.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.
