Who We Are

Compass Community School Eld Park is an independent specialist school in Thetford, Norfolk, providing high-quality, therapeutic and child-centred education for students aged 6 to 17. Our students come from diverse backgrounds, with many having Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, as well as other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) such as Autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

As a trauma and attachment-informed organisation, we ensure that all staff receive extensive therapeutic training and support. Our collaborative approach places each child at the heart of decision-making, working alongside education and therapy professionals, parents/carers, and local authorities to achieve outstanding outcomes.

The Role

We believe that teaching starts with knowing the child. Our teachers build nurturing, professional, and positive relationships with students to inspire and engage them.

We are seeking a Mathematics specialist to deliver our Entry Level, Functional Skills, Key Stage 3, and GCSE Maths curricula. Our national subject champions will support non-specialists, ensuring they have the tools to facilitate effective learning.
