Mechanical Service Senior Sales Executive

What You’ll Do
As a Mechanical Service Senior Sales Executive, you will play a critical role in driving growth and delivering high-value solutions to our customers. Your focus will be on achieving sales goals, expanding market presence, and positioning Siemens as a leader in mechanical and HVAC service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed new order booking and profitability goals based on your assigned quota.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and deliver accurate forecasts.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive offerings, and market dynamics across your region and targeted verticals.

  • Develop strategic market and account plans focused on growth in new and adjacent segments.

  • Identify new business opportunities and create go-to-market strategies that drive demand from end users and construction channels.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, identifying their business challenges and recommending customized service solutions.

  • Represent Siemens at industry events and participate in organizations such as ASHRAE, AEE, and USGBC to build relationships and expand your network.

  • Consult with customers on budgeting, investment planning, and long-term system performance goals.

  • Differentiate Siemens in the market by highlighting our world-class digital service delivery capabilities.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams—including operations, finance, legal, and engineering—to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Use internal support resources to maximize time spent with customers.

  • Partner with estimators to develop accurate cost proposals and client-facing bid packages.

  • Collaborate with other Siemens sales teams to pursue new projects and cross-sell services.

  • Establish pricing strategies that reflect the value delivered to the customer.

  • Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to stay up to date on the latest industry, product, and business trends.

  • Spend at least 50% of your time on-site and in person with customers.

  • Maintain and grow relationships with current clients while actively pursuing new business.

  • Occasional overnight travel (~10%) may be required for training or business development purposes.


What You’ll Bring

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical field. Candidates with a high school diploma or GED and 10+ years of relevant HVAC service or sales experience will also be considered.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or consulting in the mechanical (HVAC) service industry — or 3+ years of operations/field service experience in HVAC.

  • Strong financial acumen, including the ability to independently estimate and sell service agreements and retrofit projects.

  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Willingness to travel overnight (~10%) as required.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience installing or servicing mechanical/HVAC systems.

  • Ability to read and interpret design and construction documents.

  • Experience in account development and strategic sales planning.

  • Strong network within the local mechanical services and building management markets.

  • Experience selling to vertical markets such as healthcare, life sciences, education, commercial office, data centers, and government.

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM.
