About the Role
WEX is looking for a strategic and analytical Media Planning Manager to join our Performance Marketing Team. In this role, you’ll design, execute, and optimize comprehensive media plans that drive performance for over 50 fuel partner brands and internal business lines.
Key Responsibilities as Media Planning Manager

Plan, activate, and manage paid search and programmatic media campaigns

Align campaign strategy with internal stakeholders’ KPIs and audience segments
-
Integrate SEM strategies across digital channels: Display, Video, Audio, Native, CTV, DOOH
-
Monitor campaign delivery, troubleshoot issues, and ensure full execution
-
Track and report monthly media spend and campaign performance
-
Analyze campaign data to identify optimization opportunities and maximize ROI
-
Conduct testing, interpret results, and implement insights into campaign strategy
-
Stay current on trends in programmatic advertising and performance media
-
Maintain and nurture relationships with key media vendors
What You’ll Bring
-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field

3+ years of experience in digital media planning and buying
-
Hands-on experience with:
-
Google & Bing Ads, GA4, Looker Studio, G-Suite, DV360, The Trade Desk, Salesforce, GTM
-

Knowledge of media billing (POs, IOs), and spend reporting
-
Proven success running programmatic and SEM campaigns
-
Familiarity with DSPs like DV360 and The Trade Desk

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities
-
Financial services industry experience is a plus
-
A growth mindset and enthusiasm for digital marketing innovation
Compensation & Benefits
WEX offers a competitive base salary of $79,000–$105,000, based on experience and qualifications. Compensation includes:
