Position Overview: Medical Assistant

We’re looking for a Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional care to our patients. This role includes assisting with exams, procedures, and patient care processes tailored to individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage patients and record vital signs in charts

• Perform blood draws, venipuncture, and collect specimens

• Administer medications and immunizations as directed by the provider

• Set up and assist with procedures

• Prepare treatment rooms and escort patients from waiting areas

Who You Are: You are a compassionate and efficient professional with one of the following:

• Graduate of a Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or related program

• Active CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or RMA (Registered Medical Assistant)

• At least 6 months of experience in a relevant healthcare setting (urgent care, ED, etc.)

Bonus Experience (Preferred):

• Recent work in urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory clinical settings

Required Certification:

• BLS certification through the American Red Cross (preferred)
