About the Job
Key Responsibilities (This list may not encompass all duties assigned):

Prepare patients for exams and treatments.

Record patient histories and vital signs.

Prepare and distribute lab slips, X-ray forms, and patient education materials.

Assist the physician in preparing for and performing exams and procedures.

Set up exam and procedure rooms with required instruments, supplies, and equipment.
-
Clean instruments and handle spills while following universal precautions.

Administer injections as directed.
-
Perform blood draws, collect urine samples, and conduct lab tests as instructed by the physician.

Document patient information in the electronic medical record and scan documents into the system.

Complete all assigned tasks promptly.

Contact patients for follow-up or to address concerns as directed by the physician.

Use judgment to assess when patients require additional monitoring or assistance.
-
Keep the work area, pod, and other assigned areas clean and organized.
-
Perform other related duties as required.
