About the Role
Kintegra Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Float to join our dedicated healthcare team across the Northern Region locations. Reporting to the Practice Manager / Area Practice Administrator, the Medical Assistant Float provides high-quality, competent care across multiple clinics. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills to meet patient needs in diverse care settings.
As a Medical Assistant Float, you will play a vital role in supporting physicians, delivering patient-centered care, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. You must demonstrate sound clinical judgment, compassion, and the ability to work independently while maintaining organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities

Record patient medical histories, vitals, test results, and other data accurately while ensuring strict confidentiality.

Support daily administrative functions including scheduling, check-in/check-out, and maintaining medical records.

Prepare treatment rooms for exams and assist providers with procedures.

Deliver compassionate care and assistance to patients and families.

Administer prescribed medications under physician direction.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational policies.

Maintain strong clinical and communication skills validated through organizational competency testing.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Medical Assistant program preferred).

Certifications/Licensure: MA, CMA, RMA, CCMA, and Basic Life Support (BLS).

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant.

Strong knowledge of patient care procedures, healthcare compliance, and medical administration.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
