Job Summary

Pipeline Behavioral Health Services is hiring a motivated and experienced Medical Biller to support our operations in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The role is vital in maintaining the financial integrity of our healthcare services by ensuring precise billing, effective collections, and seamless communication with clients and payers. Responsibilities

  • Verify insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.

  • Submit electronic claims (835/837) and follow up on denials.

  • Process patient payments, copays, and deductible collections.

  • Input and maintain accurate financial records in TherapyNotes® EMR.

  • Review ICD codes and correct billing or coding discrepancies.

  • Communicate with insurance companies and clients to resolve billing issues.

  • Generate client invoices through TherapyNotes and ERA.

  • Utilize QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software.

  • Use Microsoft Excel and Word for reporting and documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).

  • Associate Degree in Medical Billing & Coding (preferred).

  • Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience (required).

  • Experience with Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurances.

  • Familiarity with mental health billing preferred.

  • Experience with TherapyNotes® or willingness to learn.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation.
