We are seeking a Medical Billing Assistant (Eligibility) to join our collaborative team. This role is vital to ensuring accurate insurance verification, clean claims processing, and excellent communication with both patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter new patient insurance data

Verify eligibility and benefits for medical services

Route claims based on payer rules and referral details

Investigate and resolve insurance coverage issues

Communicate with referring offices or patients to correct missing info

Transmit claims accurately and on time

Answer patient billing inquiries and process payments via phone

Troubleshoot billing errors and follow up on unresolved claims

Collaborate via email and internal chat with the team
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in medical billing, eligibility, or healthcare admin

Knowledge of insurance verification and claim submission

Familiarity with RXNT or similar billing platforms a plus

Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality

Strong organizational and communication skills

Comfortable with phone-based patient/provider interactions

Self-motivated and able to work independently
