Key Responsibilities for a Revenue Cycle Medical Billing – Attorney Involvement Specialist

Customer Service & Billing Support

• Handle inbound calls to assist customers with billing inquiries and resolve outstanding balances.

• Make outbound calls to validate active insurance coverage and confirm account details.

• Document all billing activity accurately in the system.

• Work with legal representatives to negotiate settlements and resolve claims.

Probate & Estate Claim Management

• Research and file open probate or estate claims.

• Collaborate with attorneys to manage claim resolution efficiently.

• Ensure compliance with relevant healthcare billing regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year in a call center environment.

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Empathetic and professional written and verbal communication skills.

• Intermediate computer and technology proficiency.

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare or revenue cycle billing experience.

• Knowledge of healthcare billing compliance regulations.

• Understanding of payor Explanation of Benefits (EOB).

• Collections or sales experience.

• Strong internal and external customer service skills.

Education

• High school diploma, GED, or significant relevant work experience.
