Key Responsibilities of a Multispecialty Surgery Coder II
As a dedicated Multispecialty Surgery Coder II, you will:

Review patient charts to ensure correct documentation and coding for all procedures.

Maintain at least 97% coding accuracy and achieve consistent productivity standards.

Address re-bills, denials, and documentation discrepancies in coordination with facility staff.

Respond to physician or hospital inquiries within eight hours.

Ensure all assigned charts are coded or pended within 24 hours.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Guidehouse policies.

Collaborate with coding, billing, and quality control teams to optimize accuracy and reimbursement.
You will also be expected to maintain your coding credentials and stay updated with evolving medical coding standards and facility guidelines.
Required Qualifications for Multispecialty Surgery Coder II
To qualify for the Multispecialty Surgery Coder II position, candidates must have:
