IQ Analysis is seeking a Remote Negotiator (Level 4) to evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers’ compensation claims. This full-time role focuses on achieving cost-effective, fair outcomes while ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and interpret medical bills, treatment records, and claim documentation to determine appropriate settlement values.

Negotiate with medical providers and other parties to reach timely and fair resolutions.

Ensure compliance with state workers’ compensation laws and internal policies.

Maintain accurate records of negotiations and outcomes in the claims management system.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and minimize claim exposure.

Communicate professionally with internal teams, claimants, and providers.

Monitor claims to identify trends and provide actionable reports.
Required Qualifications

4–7 years of experience in workers’ compensation claims handling, bill review, or negotiation (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Coding certification (CPC or CCS) or a valid Nursing license (RN, CAN, LPN, LVN).

Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations, medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), state fee schedules, and PPO discounts.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.

Proficiency in claims management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a TPA, insurance carrier, or medical cost containment company.
