Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and organised Medical Receptionist to become a vital part of our healthcare team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in process

  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments efficiently

  • Answer telephone enquiries and provide information on services and procedures

  • Maintain and update patient records with accuracy

  • Process registrations and ensure adherence to data protection standards

  • Coordinate with medical staff to manage patient flow smoothly

  • Handle billing questions and assist with insurance verification

  • Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or healthcare reception role (preferred)

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in using office equipment and medical practice software
