Job Overview:
Great Hill Solutions is hiring a Medical Records Technician to support the Navy Medicine Records Activity (NMRA). This role focuses on managing service treatment records, including release of information, data collection and analysis, training coordination, tracking tool management, and project oversight for the proper retirement of records.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle records in compliance with established records management requirements

Process paper and electronic documents according to SOPs

Coordinate and document record-related activities as needed

Maintain and update case databases and record management systems

Prepare, organize, and sort incoming electronic files

Redact exempt information electronically from case records

Support FOIA requests by following established procedures

Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for government customers
Basic Qualifications:

At least 1 year of experience in data entry, imaging, medical records, or military health records management

Ability to detect, document, and correct quality issues or errors

Public Trust eligibility and ability to obtain Secret clearance

Ability to work on-site at the BUMED-Detachment Saint Louis location
Preferred Qualifications:

Basic knowledge of patient administration procedures, medical terminology, anatomy/physiology, and records scanning
