General Summary
Join our team as a Member Services Representative and help provide exceptional service to credit union members. In this role, you’ll assist members in person and over the phone with deposits, withdrawals, inquiries, and account services. You’ll also handle transactions, process loan payments, and educate members about our financial products. This position is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who is detail-oriented and motivated to help members achieve financial success.
Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist members with a positive, professional attitude.

Perform transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.

Open and maintain accounts: checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and specialty accounts.

Disburse withdrawals and loan advances after proper verification.

Assist members with payroll deduction, direct deposit, and account updates.

Balance cash drawer and terminal daily with accuracy.

Answer member calls and provide solutions or direct inquiries to the right department.

Maintain office security and follow robbery-prevention procedures.

Keep work area clean and professional.

Support credit union goals through cross-selling products and services.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Prior customer service experience in retail, banking, or financial services preferred.

Strong accuracy in handling cash and balancing transactions.

Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented mindset.

Must be punctual, cooperative, and bondable.
