The Lead Web & Mobile Engineer plays a key role in this mission by shaping the design, scalability, and accessibility of our digital platforms, ensuring best-in-class web and mobile user experiences.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide engineering practices, implement modern frameworks, and directly contribute to building scalable, intuitive digital solutions for healthcare and family-building services.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with engineering leadership to align on strategic goals and define team work plans.
- Drive execution of high-quality, scalable web and mobile solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers in modern engineering practices (contract-first development, test-driven design, distributed release models).
- Influence stakeholders in healthcare and digital experience delivery.
- Lead code reviews to uphold quality, maintainability, and scalability standards.
- Guide teams in working with monorepo architecture (Yarn Workspaces).
- Collaborate with internal and external partners on best practices.
About You
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in technical leadership roles.
- 8+ years in web delivery for populations of 10M+ users.
- Expert in modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and reactive web patterns (SPA, PWA, SSR).
- Skilled in mobile transpilation frameworks (React Native, Ionic, Expo).
- Experienced with monorepo tooling, Docker, Kubernetes, and scalable deployment models.
- Deep understanding of APIs, websockets, authorization models (OAuth, JWT, PKCE).
- Background in healthcare tech with knowledge of compliance and security obligations.
- Passion for building accessible (a11y), internationalized (i18n), multimedia-enabled applications.

Compensation
- NYC Salary Range: $175,000 – $195,000 (base), plus equity and cash bonus.
- Final compensation determined by experience, skills, and market benchmarks.
