We are looking for a skilled and passionate Motorcycle Mechanic to join our team at Chorley Motorcycles, part of the largest family-owned motorcycle dealership group in the UK. Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough diagnostic inspections to determine repair requirements

• Carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, brake repairs, and tyre rotations

• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Conduct component assembly/disassembly for maintenance and repairs

• Keep accurate service records for each job completed

• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to customers

• Collaborate with team members to maintain workshop efficiency

• Adhere to all health, safety, and cleanliness protocols

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of motorcycle mechanic experience (required)

• Proven mechanical skills, including use of diagnostic and hand tools

• Ability to lift heavy parts and work in a physically active role

• Full A class motorcycle licence with fewer than 6 points (required)

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Soldering experience is a plus, but not required

• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards

Working Hours

• Tuesday to Saturday, with Sunday and Monday off

• 8-hour shifts with overtime available
