We are currently seeking a Multi Skilled Operative to join our Cambridge-based team in Cottenham. If you have a carpentry background and skills in plumbing, plastering, and general property maintenance, this is your chance to be part of a respected and people-focused company.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in occupied homes, including:

Fitting and replacing doors
-
Wooden floor repairs and maintenance
-
Minor plumbing works
-
Patch plastering and tiling
-
-
Conduct fault finding and corrective repairs with a focus on first-time completion
-
Deliver high-quality service within budget and timeframes
-
Use a handheld PDA device for job management, stock control, and documentation
-
Maintain tools, vehicle, and uniform to company standards
-
Source and collect materials as required for each task

Support out-of-hours emergency call-outs (on a rota basis)

Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures
Essential Requirements
-
Core trade in Carpentry with additional experience in:
-
Plumbing
-
Plastering
-
Painting and Decorating
-
-
UK Driving Licence (must be 21+ with less than 9 penalty points)

Provide own hand and power tools
-
Previous experience in residential refurbishments or maintenance
-
Right to work in the UK – visa sponsorship not available
-
Subject to DBS/Security checks before employment
