Job Description:
Join Walmart’s Supply Chain team as a Distribution Warehouse Maintenance Associate, where you’ll play a vital role in maintaining facility operations and equipment performance. We are hiring for Weekend (5th) Shift positions at our Laurens, SC distribution center.
This opportunity includes roles such as Battery Changer, Custodial Staff, Licensed Electricians, and Maintenance Technicians. You’ll be responsible for proactive maintenance, repairs, and ensuring operational efficiency across all warehouse systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on facility equipment

Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems

Maintain and replace industrial batteries (Battery Changer role)

Carry out custodial duties to ensure a safe and clean working environment

Monitor and maintain safety compliance per OSHA and Walmart standards

Support facility operations through hands-on technical work

Qualifications:
-
18 years of age or older
-
Experience in industrial maintenance, custodial services, or electrical repair preferred

Ability to work physical shifts and lift/move equipment

Knowledge of warehouse equipment and safety procedures

Strong problem-solving and team communication skills
-
Relevant certifications for Electrician or Maintenance roles (preferred but not required)
Compensation & Incentives:

Base Pay: $37.20 – $40.70 per hour

Quarterly or annual performance-based incentives
-
Premium pay: Additional $0.35 – $3.00/hour based on:
-
Shift type (e.g., weekends)

Facility needs
-
Work type or seasonality
