Job Summary
The National Accounts Sales Executive is responsible for cultivating and growing business relationships with Miner’s designated national accounts. This role drives sales performance by identifying client needs, delivering customized solutions, and meeting or exceeding defined sales targets.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for assigned national accounts—contacting locations, identifying needs, proposing solutions, negotiating, quoting, and closing deals—in alignment with Miner’s account agreements and procedures.

Consistently achieve performance metrics (KPIs) such as site calls, visits, activations, revenue, gross profit, SafeACT and SafeCHECK sales, and quote success rates.

Serve as a consultative partner, providing tailored solutions to address customer challenges and business goals.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute a clear growth strategy for national accounts in your territory.

Share best practices and development strategies with fellow sales professionals to support a collaborative sales environment.

Partner with National Account Managers to resolve challenges and enhance customer satisfaction.

Maintain accurate and timely sales activity records using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce/Tracker).

Utilize Miner’s proprietary SafeACT and SafeCHECK programs to drive recurring service and conduct account assessments.

Participate in rollout sessions, training programs, and field ride-alongs to build account penetration and product knowledge.

Prepare detailed service specifications aligned with relevant regulations and company policies.

Generate precise cost estimates and apply market-based pricing strategies for proposed solutions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.

1+ years of customer service experience required.

Business-to-business sales experience strongly preferred.

Experience in industrial or equipment sales is a plus.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce preferred.

Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.

Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Requirements
This role requires regular verbal communication and manual dexterity for handling tools and digital devices. Additional physical activities may include walking, sitting, standing, climbing, stooping, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. The role also demands visual acuity and may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) while on certain job sites.
Work Environment
The position involves travel to diverse work sites, including warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing plants, hospitals, and refineries. Employees may work alongside others in active environments with frequent exposure to electrical systems and moderate to high noise levels.
