Key Responsibilities

1. Feature Development

  • Lead the design and delivery of new features aligned with business goals.

  • Collaborate with third-party systems and IT partners to design scalable, secure interface architectures.

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to improve performance and user experience.

  • Contribute to strategic technical decision-making on frameworks, tools, and infrastructure.

2. Project Management

  • Oversee the execution of projects, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and to expected value.

  • Define scope, objectives, and outcomes in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, risk assessments, and progress reports.

  • Manage upgrades, system enhancements, and integrations aligned with business needs.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards and methodologies.

  • Manage code promotions across various applications and databases.

3. Business Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as a primary liaison between IT, business units, and external vendors.

  • Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications.

  • Provide regular, transparent updates on project progress and application performance to stakeholders.

4. Continuous Improvement & Strategy

  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and process enhancements.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in application development and support.

  • Assist the IT Development Manager in shaping long-term strategic roadmaps and application planning.

5. Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor and guide junior developers and contractors involved in project delivery.

  • Promote a collaborative, knowledge-sharing team culture focused on innovation and excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, security standards, and organizational policies.

6. Application Support & Operations

  • Maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing application environments.

  • Partner with support teams to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement lasting solutions.

  • Conduct performance monitoring, preventative maintenance, and compliance checks.

  • Maintain critical operational documentation including runbooks and disaster recovery plans.

  • Oversee contracts, licenses, and participate in audits related to applications and supporting tools.


Qualifications & Certifications

  • 3+ years of experience leading IT projects in a corporate or enterprise IT environment.

  • 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft technologies, especially .NET Core with C#.

  • 5+ years of experience working with SQL Server and Oracle, including a strong grasp of database programming and optimization.

  • Extensive experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing Azure DevOps: work item tracking, repositories, pipelines, and release management.

  • Solid understanding of networking and security concepts relevant to web application support.

  • Experience supporting enterprise applications, system integrations, and complex troubleshooting scenarios.

  • Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks and incident resolution workflows.

  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven experience working in a diverse, cross-functional corporate IT environment.
