Network Engineer
Location: Basingstoke – Office-based, 5 days a week

Your Role
We are seeking a Network Engineer to be part of an agile, multi-skilled team that values teamwork and technical excellence.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive technical support for project deployment, including installation, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and system maintenance.
- Advising project SMEs on preventive maintenance and configuration improvements to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
- Implementing medium to large-scale network infrastructures within set timelines while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Managing systems within SLA parameters, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing necessary changes.
- Taking ownership of issue resolution by diagnosing problems, engaging third parties where necessary, and delivering effective solutions.
- Staying updated with the latest products, tools, and technologies, promoting their use for continuous improvement.
Your Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Proven experience in implementing LAN networks and infrastructure patching based on design specifications, with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
- A track record of meeting project deadlines and staying within budget.
- Expertise in at least two of the following areas and proficiency in at least two others:
- Junos
- Cisco IOS
- IPS/IDS – Firepower, SRX, or FortiGate
- Cisco ISE
- NSX-T
- Load Balancing (F5 or Citrix)
- Cloud Networking (AWS or Azure)
- Network Automation
- Ansible
- Python
- Visual Basic
- Terraform
