Responsibilities

  • Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Lead the design, engineering, and deployment of physical network infrastructure across Verily’s global locations, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, and security systems.
  • Cloud Networking & VPC Infrastructure: Assist in designing and implementing secure cloud connectivity, optimizing routing protocols for resilient and high-performance connections.
  • Monitoring & Alerting: Configure robust monitoring and alerting systems for all network equipment and virtual appliances to ensure optimal performance and quick issue resolution.
  • Troubleshooting & Support: Collaborate with the helpdesk and Network Operations Center (NOC) to diagnose and resolve network connectivity challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Network Engineering.
  • Expert-level knowledge of WiFi technologies, switching, routing protocols, firewalls, and cloud networking.
  • Extensive experience with networking equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Palo Alto.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications from Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto, or other networking vendors.
  • Experience with IT security, compliance, and managing vendor/partner relationships.
  • Proficiency in automation and scripting tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience designing and managing distributed systems in public cloud environments like GCP, AWS, or Azure.
