Your Role:
- Provide technical expertise to support a high-frequency trading floor in a competitive market-making environment.
- Identify, design, and implement network optimizations to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Automate and streamline network infrastructure, reducing manual processes.
- Assist with planned upgrades and maintenance, including migrations, expansions, and hardware/software upgrades.
- Ensure the seamless operation of our WAN network across global data centers and colocations.
- Contribute to capacity planning, connectivity improvements, and traffic flow optimization.
- Support the ongoing standardization of our environments and advance our Infrastructure as Code vision.

Who You Are:
- Passionate about network performance, monitoring, and capacity planning.
- Experienced with LAN and WAN technologies.
- Proficient in network transport and routing protocols (TCP/UDP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast).
- Comfortable in a multi-vendor environment (Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto).
- Knowledgeable in network security and firewall management.
- Skilled in using network monitoring and alerting tools.
- Strong communicator with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences through presentations or documentation.
- Python scripting experience for automation is a plus but not required.
- Experience with low-latency networking, configuration management, time-series databases, and centralized logging solutions is beneficial but not essential.
