Role Overview
As a Senior Network Engineer, you will oversee Verily’s global enterprise network, ensuring its security, reliability, and efficiency. Acting as a subject matter expert, you will design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across all locations and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Network Infrastructure: Design and implement LAN, WAN, WiFi, and security systems across Verily’s global sites.
- Cloud Connectivity: Develop and secure VPC connections with cloud providers, ensuring resilient routing.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Configure alerts, diagnose, and resolve network issues in collaboration with support teams.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
- Expertise in WiFi, switching, routing, firewalls, and cloud networking.
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, and Palo Alto equipment.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications (Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto).
- Experience in IT security, compliance, and automation (Ansible, Terraform).
- Expertise in managing distributed cloud systems (GCP, AWS, Azure).
- Technical documentation and codelab development experience.
Compensation & Work Authorization
- US Salary Range: $134,000 – $206,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
- Compensation varies based on location, skills, and experience.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
