Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure optimal functionality and performance of switches, firewalls, cloud firewalls, SD-WAN, and related network infrastructure in a high-availability global environment.

  • Work closely with managed service providers to maintain and optimize network services, aligning configurations with business objectives and performance standards.

  • Assist the BRM and SDM teams with IT support, providing expertise on Azure network integration, cloud firewalls, and automation strategies.

  • Oversee the daily workflow of reporting specialists, focusing on LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud firewall operational support, while leveraging NetDevOps automation tools for improved efficiency.

  • Provide regular updates to the Business Partner regarding global operational status, issues, and ongoing projects involving SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, Azure networking, and agile methodologies.

  • Lead global projects utilizing agile methods, ensuring successful execution through collaboration with the global team.

  • Identify, analyze, and escalate network-related issues that could impact business operations.

  • Ensure all changes to LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, and Azure services comply with architecture guidelines, change control processes, and receive necessary approvals before implementation.

  • Support and collaborate with the Team Lead for Global Internet/Extranet Services, contributing to solutions involving NetDevOps practices, cloud firewall integrations, and automation.

  • Mentor IT specialists, fostering their growth in traditional and cloud networking, SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, NetDevOps, and automation.

  • Enhance Global Networking services by developing and refining processes using NetDevOps automation and agile principles.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in LAN/WAN, firewalls, and security support.

  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN is preferred.

  • Familiarity with NetDevOps practices and network automation tools is an advantage.

  • Background in project management, specifically within network and infrastructure domains, is a plus.

  • Strong expertise in Cisco, Aruba, Cisco IOS, and NEXUS switches.

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto firewalls.

  • Knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and AP support.

  • Experience with Zscaler ZPA & ZIA solutions.

  • Basic understanding of firewall management principles.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly analytical.

  • Familiarity with cloud hosting platforms such as Azure and AWS.
