The Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled Global IT Network Engineer to manage and support our global network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, Internet services, Azure environments, and NetDevOps practices. This role is crucial in ensuring the stability, integrity, and security of our network services.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and optimize global network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, SD-WAN).
- Collaborate with managed service providers for cloud firewall management.
- Provide technical guidance to BRM and SDM teams on network services and Azure integrations.
- Oversee reporting specialists in operational support for LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and cloud firewalls, leveraging NetDevOps automation.
- Provide daily operational status updates to business partners.
- Drive global network projects using agile methodologies.
- Identify, analyze, and escalate network issues impacting business operations.
- Ensure all network changes adhere to architecture and change control processes.
- Support the Team Lead for Global Internet/Extranet Services with innovative solutions.
- Mentor IT specialists in traditional and cloud networking, SD-WAN, cloud firewalls, and automation.
- Develop and refine processes using NetDevOps and agile principles.
What You’ll Bring:
- BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in LAN/WAN/Firewall/Security support.
- Experience with SD-WAN (preferred).
- Knowledge of NetDevOps practices and automation tools (preferred).
- Project management experience in network and infrastructure (preferred).
- Expertise in Cisco, Aruba, Cisco IOS, and NEXUS switches.
- Experience with Palo Alto firewall configuration.
- Knowledge of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers and AP support.
- Familiarity with Zscaler ZPA & ZIA.
- Basic understanding of firewall management.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting (Azure, AWS).
