What You’ll Do
As a Network Engineer within our Network Operations Center (NOC), you’ll play a crucial role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure. You’ll be part of a collaborative, agile team that responds swiftly to performance alerts, resolves network issues, and supports critical business operations—ensuring minimal disruptions to patient care and hospital systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Proactive monitoring of network dashboards and alerts

First-level triage and resolution of network infrastructure issues

Engagement in Major Incident Response Team (MIRT) events

Collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders

Use of tools like Splunk, NetFlow, Wireshark, ThousandEyes, and ServiceNow
-
Administration and troubleshooting of network systems and protocols, including:

Layer 1 & 2 technologies (e.g., cabling, VLANs, STP, trunking)

Routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), SDN, MPLS/VPLS
-
VPN, firewalls, proxies, remote access (AnyConnect, Meraki, Zscaler)

Load balancers (f5, A10), wireless infrastructure (Cisco, Aruba)

Work Environment:
-
Primarily office-based with occasional after-hours or weekend work

Potential physical tasks such as racking or configuring network hardware

On-site presence in Nashville, TN preferred unless otherwise directed
Qualifications
-
1–3 years of networking experience

CompTIA Network+ or Cisco CCNA (preferred)

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when needed

Self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and attention to detail
